There's a new kid on the block in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley! Bosting a 300 capacity and an impressive lineup of live music, The Outpost attempts to pay homage to Brisbane's rich musical history and the '70's dive bar of the same name, that played a huge role in the Brissy music scene for many years. 

"My first ever gig was at The Outpost. I was 16 and was hyper-aware to a new world opening up to me. However, this Outpost is no Dive Bar. The team have created a stunning space that equally accommodates after-work cocktails, pre-dinner drinks, and will nurture artists, offering them a springboard onto the Fortitude stage in tours to come", said Venue director John Collins.

The Outpost venue will be operating within the Fortitude Music Hall, launching Thursday 1 August with a special performance from Brisbane four-piece Major Leagues, alongside Greta Stanley, Married Man and Colts. You'll also be able to catch some other local talent throughout August, with performances from Sweater Curse, Sampology and more already locked in.
