Hot Toddies Is Heating Up The Triffid This Winter
This July and August, The Triffid is turning up the heat with Hot Toddies - a free winter live music series bringing intimate acoustic sets, warming cocktails and laid-back Beer Garden energy to Brisbane.
Presented in partnership with Wild Turkey Bourbon, the series pairs stripped-back performances with seasonal drink specials, including the classic Hot Toddy. Following a successful opening night with Brisbane favourites Special Features, Hot Toddies continues with two more free live music events across August.
Brisbane alt-rock outfit Sunbleached take over The Triffid Beer Garden on Thursday 6 August, bringing their '90s-inspired sound to a relaxed acoustic setting. Since forming in 2020, the four-piece have quickly become one of Queensland's most exciting emerging bands, known for balancing raw energy with a fresh, modern edge.
Then, Brisbane indie rock favourite Flamingo Blonde closes out the series on Sunday 30 August. Led by James Bartlett, the project has built a reputation for energetic live shows, hook-filled songwriting and driving guitars, sharing stages with Real Estate, Whitney, Last Dinosaurs and The Slingers.
Across both events, guests can settle in with warming Wild Turkey cocktails, seasonal winter drink specials and free live music in one of Brisbane's favourite Beer Gardens.
Entry is free, with supports to be announced.
